critical error

Hi,

I have some troubles hosting a multiplayer game.
All my settings are normal I think but when I want to
start the game I get a critical error:

It's really frustrating 'cause I like to host games.
Can someone plz help me?

erm, have you got the excessive mod properly installed?

Yep, your Excessive mod is definatly NOT completely installed. Did you prepare the Ini file the right way btw?

As a random remark, did you know Qjets and Excessive (and some other mods) slow down servers? VSK gaming servers - as an example - prohibits customers to use these mods as the performance goes down into the cellar. :)

They don't slow them down as such....but mods such as excessive can be very heavy on CPU usage and so when you share a processor with 10 other games on a shared game server you can't afford to be greedy!

I don't use this mod but it prolly got installed when I was playing on a server where this mod was running. How do I fix this?

You probably have a line in your UnrealTournament.ini that says ServerPackages=Excessive - remove that line.

under engine.gameengine delete the server packages entry for excessive
