Nooby server?

Hello, I was wondering what the score is with regards to my account playing on the nooby server, im not exactly a great player, but I tend to own fairly easily on the nooby server now, so I have now stopped playing on it, but I regularily have mates come round who are total noobs who want a go online with people who arnt going to just destroy them, is that ok? I'd guess so, as if they are playing with my account they will likely get their arses kicked even on the nooby server lol.

When your friends play, they should use a name
different from yours.

lol, my mate started playing on the nooby server about 10mins or so after I posted this, and almost immediately got asked to move up to the intermediate server (I didnt tell him the truth, so he was really pleased and took it as a compliment, lmao) he managed to not come last at first on the intermediate server..... Im happy to change the name when one of my mates plays, but obviously if someone sees that it is the same IP they might get suspicious. I have 3 mates who are likely to play (non of them have ADSL connections, but they usually come to the odd LAN party at mine) and once in a blue moon my gf might play...

I think that some of the problem is that at different times of day, the skill levels seem to be different, like during the day, the nooby server is a walk over, but at night, while its not exactly pro skill or anything, there is a noticeably higher skill level, not just on the nooby server, but on all of them. During the day the players on the intermediate server tend to be a lot more easy going than in the evening, skill and attitude wise.

Just to clarify: Is it ok if my mates were to play on whatever server suits them best if they come round mine, as long as I change my nick? I will always try and direct them towards a server that is the right kind of level for them, obviously the final results should show that its not me on some ego trip thinking I own because I can win on the nooby server. :P lol

The reason i suggested that they get a nick of their
own, are that if an admin see your name on the
Newbie server, he may kick you as he knows that
you dont belong there.

Another reason for them to have a nick of their own
is that they will make a reputation and make friends
online.

Just a suggestion, but it would make things a lot easier
for everyone.

As for all of you using the same IP. Its not a problem,
unless your IP gets banned :lol:

I'll make sure they each have their own nick in future, although the way ive been playing today, I think maybe I should go back to the nooby server :P I've been in quite a bad mood, it has an amazingly adverse effect on my gameplay :( I assume my IP wouldnt be banned unless I did something obviously deliberatly wrong (which I wouldnt) so hopefully I'll be ok there, non of my mates are likely to do anything like be abusive either so no worries there :)
