Ok Here is a technical post (and its on topic too......)
What is the best resolution to view this site at?
I have tried 1024 by 768 - which seems to be best for me with normal fonts any other suggestions?

The site works best with 1024 x 768 or higher. If you use 800 x 600 I would recommend switching to a different theme as the MetalTech theme has borders down each side which makes viewing at low resolutions a bit awkward.
At 1280x1024 site looks wicked :D
Pardon me for asking the obvious, but why do you have to have your browser maximised? Windows, and Linux, are multitaskers, you know - you can have loads of things going on but you won't see 'em if the windows are maxed
I got 1280x1024 plus 1024x768 here, but woe betide any website that maxes my browser window. I paid too bleeding much for these pixels to waste 'em on graduated sidebars :)

I use 1400 x 1050 and always view the site maximised but that's my personal preference. I use the taskbar or Alt+tab when I want to look at something else.
Sounds like a 15" laptop there, Truff. You must have very good eyesight.
Or very bad eyesight now :)

lol - I have mostly (my wifes notebook) 1680x1050 / normal font and Sunset-theme
browsers not maximized (16:9 - screen is perfect for 2 browser-windows overlapping or side by side)
on my own computer I have 1152x900 (browser not maximized)
... and its fine with me :D
