Hallo Truff-Team!
I have got a Problem! Yesterday my damn brother was using a Aimbot! On your "Truff's Big 'n' Strange CTF Server"! I told him thatīs noobing but...heīs 13 years old :-/ I Hope that he hasnīt used my CLANname because thats make my name very bad!!! He said he used the name "Destroyer" and some other names...donīt know! Now is the IP banned and i like this Server very much!! Iīve spoken with him! He won't make it any more!! Please answer me. I hope you understand this a little bit...?

That's bullshit Toni .You screwed yourself by allowing your brother to load a bot onto your computer .As for anyone destroying your reputation ,you can blame that on your brother also. An yes seeing as Dussander is an Admin they do have pretty much total controll over players that try to Cheat here . Cheating will not be but up with here in any way shape or fourm . All cheaters caught here are posted in a cheat data base that is accessed by many other gameing sights .An i'm sure your clanleader will be happy to hear that you got caught with a bot on your machine .So don't go Moaning about people that had nothing to do with your problem .The problem was caused at your end the moment the bot got loaded on your computer .We get all sorts of complaints from players that get caught .The funny thing is none of them ever loaded the bot themself .The Bot has always managed to download itself an load its self .Or the bot has always been but on by their brother ,sister,dog ,cat or aliens :) .So take it for what it is chief you got messed up so now you need to deal with it .Man real life sucks don't it .

we and your clan leader will never know for sure if you actually got the bot in the first place, how long it was used for and how many clanwars were cheated in.

Very nice of you to mention the server where it happened and the possible nick that was used - with all that info tied to an ip I would guess your Truff days are over.
Giving info voluntarily might have led to some people believing you - but insulting Duss - who is a very respected Admin here and is also on the clanbase anti cheat crew - will get you into a very deep hole.

Yes. Dussander is great as spotting the difference between cheaters from the good players. LMFAO :lol: Can't believe he is on clanbase anti cheat team. You're all screwed i tell you.
You can never use the excuse it was someone else to get you unbanned. Even if it was somebody else you take full responsibility for letting them use your computer and playing UT on it.
The game is mature rated anyway so he shouldn't be playing at 13 :wink:

You just saved me about 2 minutes work, since I could just search CB myself and get your clan ID and clansite.

It's my job to hunt cheaters out. I don't do it for glory, or because I am a Truff mod. I was helping the Truff community out with it's anticheat before I became a member.

No, your 'brother' destroyed your reputation. You cannot prove that you have a brother or even if you do, you cannot prove he was using the bot - ruining dozens of players' games.

Doesn't matter, I will get CB to remove your account whether you tell your CL or not - a permanent ban from playing on CB. If the CL readds you & you play then his clan gets removed and he gets a 3-month ban.
Since you weren't paying attention:
Moadebe] If a player is caught cheating, then everyonme on that same connection will be banned as per our policy
Toni, from what I understand you seem like another one of those players who just ruin UT for everyone else - kinda like the scc. Please, do us all a favour and find another server to cheat on. :wink:

in Assault we use an auth-system to prevent "MERC" (its a gameserver IP Database + IP of the Forum account which is a requirement to play in the Leauge..... and if we catch one its allways the little brother which played accidentally on the PC..

Yes CB anticheat is regulated... and? Who I was speaking to is co-head of CB cheat and abuse. End of. Anyone can cheat, get subnet banned, come on here and say "my 13 yr old brother cheated, please remove the ban". We aren't buying it.

The "my little brother did it" excuse is as old as aimbots themselves. That excuse will never be taken seriously by any UT admin. Maybe you should think about what privileges your little brother gets on your pc. Also password protect all other accounts.

Dussander is doing his job. Catching cheaters, and getting them
kicked out of every place possibly, including CB.
The person to blame is your brother. He is the one who did all
this to you.
I think you should show your brother what he has done to you.
Perhaps he will think twice before putting cheats on a computer
again.

Toni - you may be guilty you may be innocent - we will never know and unfortunately no-one you ever play again will ever be sure.
The problem is that whilst some people do have kids brothers and sisters who are quite capable of doing what you described (mine would have been quite likely to have done something similar when she was younger too!) but so often cheaters pretend that it was a kid brother that noone believs it any more.
Personally I tend to suspect that you're telling the truth here, which is why I'm bothering to post. Your brother has ruined your UT standing totally - 100%. There is no going back after this. You will have to try and get a new ip, assume a new nick, and start all over again. Leave it a few weeks, then start playing on new servers, and wait till you can join a new clan etc.
And make sure no cheats can ever get put on your computer again - Psy is right - show your brother exactly what grief he has caused you (if you haven't killed the little brat that is).
