swapped connection types

i have recently swapped my excellent ntl cable modem with 2mb connection for a seemingly lame ass bt adsl connection with 1-2mb i now have to re-connect at least once a game and am going insane! any tips on how to speed up my connection and make it last an entire match? ntl pings were high teens, bt ping is 30-35 still good i know, its the constant re-connection thats making me cry :cry: connected with ethernet and all the appropriate micofilterters, only started playing again to day after moving house so maybe it'll sort itself?................. :P :roll:

I had major reconnect problems with bt when I moved house, (I spent a good deal of time phoning tech support in India, resetting my modem and generally tinkering with things when.....) it turned out I had forgotten to put a filter on my sky box :oops:

I am sure you are not that silly, however it is not unheard of for the filters to "become" faulty through no good reason.
