Did you know, that you can survive a headshot ?
Yesterday I survived it and had to laugh my ass off afterwards.
And after pondering why I still lived the penny has dropped:
A headshot inflicts 150 hp damage to you, so if you have more than 150 hp you'll
survive the headshot xD.
Well, you live and learn ;D

I just read it through and noticed something I will pay more attention to in the future:
Just shoot with the sniper rifle if you are sure to hit your enemy with that shot ^.^

to avoid a head shot with less than 150 health just crouch :P
already new about 150 hp only full bio load, slv, redeemer, gib can take the full 349 health away.

Ha, sweet, the good old UT bible by Ocrana-Flocutus! He was one of the 1on1-gods on all maps but deck16 back in the good old days of UT. Well, what am I saying, it's still good days of UT here on truff's :)

pretty old news, thankfully not as much rapage by it these days now most servers seem to be running TIW and anti-lockdown mods.

I remember a Q2 mod that caused one to lose body parts when damage was taken. So...

You could run around without limbs or you could (sort of) hop around as a torso/head or (kind of) roll around as just a head. I don't think you could really move around as just a head. Can remember leaving people alive as just heads :lol: begging to be killed. A grappling hook was one of the default weapons so you could move around without legs. You could also pick up pieces. So if you needed an arm or leg, you could get 'em back. Points were awarded based on which part you shot off.
