I have Linux RedHat Fedora Core 3 and i also have a wireless PCI card EDIMAX
EW-7128g. Edimax do not have any Linux drivers for it but i have found some threw google http://rt2x00.serialmonkey.com/wiki/index.php/Downloads i am trying to install the Latest BETA rt2400 driver: v1.2.2-b2 but im stuck as i only got linux an hour ago and never used linux in my life could someone help me

in a console and as root
# tar -xvzf rtxxx.tar.gz /usr/src/

Here the howto of your drivers for mandriva (ex mandrake), i think for this case fedora like mandriva.

linux should have some sort of driver installer

what desktop do u use?
click on something look like a little tv in your desktop
and type something like
konqueror

i carnt use linux anymore as it wont work it is asking for a root passowrd on statup and then it says #1 #2
